The Poignancy of the Bride

I love the way that you and I
intertwine like collective vines.
Fragile moments of ephemeral bliss,
eternal echoes of a kiss.

Your every breath I anticipate,
Your every word defines my fate.
I’ve carved your image in my mind,
The heaviness of your remind.

I carry thoughts of you my love,
and lift them up to hold above.
The times I hate this worthless life,
I find solace knowing you’re my wife.
