Thoughts on the meeting Sunday March 28th

Yesterday’s meeting was interesting; sitting in my little corner I admit it was difficult to hear everyone over the ‘Big Michigan State Game’. Funny what some distract themselves with; if it’s not the ‘Big Game’ it will be something else equally as irrelevant. At any rate, from my little corner and in spite of the racket, I managed to soak in an incredible amount of information.

Walking away it became very clear to me that we all have our strengths and our weaknesses, with that comes the different elements of our movement that inspire us. For example a few people were discussing the practicality and thus various conceptual applications that perhaps will lead us to sustainability without the depletion of Earth’s once abundant resources. This is admirable for I lack the ‘technological’ foresight to think along these lines.

My strong points are communication, philosophical thought, and an overwhelming need to expose ‘the man behind the curtain’ so to speak. For if we fail on any of these key elements of the movement it’s my opinion that we will become stagnant, have little to no growth. For without the message; the motivation to apply these principals wanes.

I guess this is how we grow. At least I hope that it is, because if we are all on different pages it does little good to talk about it. For I have yet to get to your chapter, and I have a feeling that you may have skipped mine.
